Corporate Fly Fishing Days

Fishing Days Out at Coltsford Mill

Looking for a Corporate Day Out? Why not try your hand at Fly Fishing?

Coltsford Mill Trout Fishery requires a minimum of 16 rods for sole occupancy and has a maximum of 24 rods available.

Facilities include our own Lodge with licensed bar and comfortable lounge and eating area.

The outdoor decking overlooking the Mill Pool is also a perfect setting for your lunchtime requirements, such as barbeques, cold buffets and hot chaffing buffets. (See Menus)

The Fishery is able to provide full tuition for novice anglers and complete tackle hire, which includes rods and all other accessory and presentation packs for your corporate clients.

An example of a suitable agenda would be as follows -

8.30amTea / Coffee and Bacon Rolls in Lodge
9.30amTuition given to novices on grass area surrounding the Trout Fishery (if required)
10.30amIntroduction with casting on the watercourses, i.e. Mill Pool, Willow Pool and Cascades
11.30amNovices are left to themselves until lunch
1.00pmBarbeque / Lunch in Lodge
2.00pmReturn to fishing (with competition if required)
5.00pmPrize giving for competition in Lodge
6.00pmDeparture of guests or return to fishing until dusk
