Mill Pool
This lake covers a total area of 2 and a half acres, river fed by the Eden with good average depths of 7-8 feet with deeper areas 10 feet plus off the top dam.
This trout lake is well established and offers the experienced angler the chance to fish natural patterns with a floating line, nymphs, buzzers and dry fly.
Trout Stock sizes - a good 2lb to heavy doubles. There is no restriction on lines, except shooting heads, lures may be used as well. Maximum hook size is 10 shank with a team of 3 flies permitted.

Willow Pool
The slightly smaller lake covers an area of 1 and a half acres, also river-fed. The depths are greater than that of the Mill Pool, therefore, fishing is by heavier lines and lures seem to be the best method to success.
This pool offers an attractive back-drop of hawthorn trees and vegetation with good dry sport fished close to these margins.
Maximum hook size is 10 shank long with a team of 3 flies permitted.

Top Cascade
This pool is fed directly from the Mill Pool through a conical flow dropping some 15 feet, giving a good supply of oxygenated water, resulting in strong fighting fish up to 6lb in weight. More intricate casting is required with sweeping bends making for a challenge.
Traditional patterns and wet flies produce successful returns. Single fly, maximum hook size 10 long shank, no lures permitted.

Lower Cascade
Fed from the Top Cascade over a waterfall flowing down to a large pool with a small island. This cascade is a far easier way to fish but still giving a challenge to the experienced angler and novice.
Again no lures are permitted in the Lower Cascade. This particular water provides a very good dry fly result in the evening and is favoured by the regular fisherman.
